3D Printing is an in-vogue name for what is commonly referred to as Additive Manufacturing, which refers to the technology by which the objects are built by adding layer upon layer of material, whether the material is metal, plastic, concrete or human tissue. To implement additive manufacturing, a computer is used together with special 3D printing software. At first, a Computer Aided Design (CAD) model is created, and the additive manufacturing device reads data from the CAD file and subsequently prints layer by layer.
